Skin booster - Allergan Juvederm

Juvederm Volite is a new dermal filler of Vycross technology from Allergan, designed to increase skin quality. This new product is specifically designed for deep skin hydration, making it supple and soft, and repairs its texture.

How is it different from other similar products?

Juvederm Volite contains hyaluronic acid of a different type of molecule than other products intended for skin hydration. It’s about the so-called cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which is used for hyaluronic fillers, while all mesotherapy cocktails use non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, of short-term effect. This allows for much longer skin retention at the applied site, which benefits from the long-term nourishment of the skin and a significant improvement in its elasticity after just one treatment. The period of significantly improved function and appearance of the skin is 6-9 months, confirmed by histological and clinical studies.

When is Juvederm specially recommended?

When creating an individual plan for rejuvenating the face, neck, décolletage and fists, we always start with laser treatments to stimulate and utilize our own skin potentials. Experience has shown that the results of laser treatments are much higher if the skin is sufficiently hydrated, so Juvederm Volite is often a recommendation for starting a rejuvenation protocol. On the other hand, if the skin is younger and hydrated enough, Juvederm Volite will be applied after the laser treatment for the indications we have chosen is completed, as a final procedure to preserve the results achieved.

PREPARATION

The first step is applying the anesthetic cream and then the product. The product is spread evenly over the entire face and othe-planned regions, with the emphasis on places that need special attention. In case of pre-existing marked skin changes, 2ml of Volite will be needed for the face region.
This procedure takes up to 60 minutes, it takes 20-30 minutes to stand the anesthetic and 30 minutes to administer the Volite product.

CARE AND RECOVERY

After the treatment, no special care is required, however, facial massage and makeup are not allowed in the first 24 hours. One can immediately return to their daily activities.
